Part 3 Using Method for Molten Steel Disposable Thermocouple Tip
1,According to the measured object,selecting the appropriate protection tube length and suitable temperature measuring gun.
2,put the fast thermocouple on the temperature measuring gun, and let the digital meter back to zero.If it shows good contacts at this moment,then can be measured.
3,Expendable Thermocouple insertion depth of the molten steel with 300-400-mm advisable,don’t contact furnace wall.
When get the temperature, get back the gun, if too long time ,the gun will be burnt out
4,After getting the temperature,remove the tip and install a new one, and pause for a few minutes.Do not measure it continuously,otherwise there will be fluctuations.
